SWEETS SHARE also available!

Shortbread Cookie Share
Once a week (22 weeks)
Cost: $61
This share gives you a rotating variety of English, Scandinavian and other shortbreads from Chocolate Stars to Shrewsbury Shortbread (with currants). Some varieties will contain nuts. Each week you will received a bag of 6-12 shortbread cookies weighing from 2.75oz to 3.75oz. All varieties keep very well and their size makes it easy to control how much you eat, although we confess that most of our customers find these so tasty they usually devour a bag in one day. ALL BUTTER, NO OIL, they are surprisingly satisfying.

Limited number of cookie shares available.
Scone Share
Once a month (5 times)
Cost: $45
Available as an add-on for Bread Share members ONLY.

What is a scone? Or better yet, what is a scone supposed to be like? Our scones are made by our English baker and are representative of what you would find overseas, not in the supermarket. Denser than a biscuit, yet lighter than cake, scones make an excellent light treat with a "cuppa" or some coffee. Once per month (5 times total), you will receive 8 scones of one variety. CLICK HERE FOR SCONE VARIETIES.

3 Bears Bakery
Claire, Andre, and Rachel Konstant
serving Rutland County since 2008

Grown out of the desire to share some of Claire's English roots through baking and Andre's experiences traveling extensively throughout western Europe and England, Claire and Andre Konstant started a bakery at the Rutland City farmers' market in September 2008. Since then, they have been baking classic English, Scandinavian and Continental sweets, pastries, cakes, shortbread cookies, and Artisan breads. 3 Bears Bakery uses only local milk, local eggs, local honey, natural cane sugar, and butter from Kate's of Maine for its purity from artificial growth hormones. Our flours are never bleached nor bromated and we never use dough enhancers or "flavorings." Our breads are 100% fermented for a period from 13-19 hours (weather dependent): therefore, we use very little yeast (about one eighth) and some breads use the sourdough method with a sourdough starter we developed in 2009. Our breads can be found at various locations in Rutland County and at the Middlebury Co-op.

You can meet Claire and Andre every Saturday (and some Wednesdays) at the Rutland Winter Market every Saturday. Let them know you are a Radical Roots Farm share member and they will be happy to tell you all about their breads and sweets!

Radical Roots Farm is located on Creek Road (also known as Dorr Drive) in Rutland.  We are directly across the street from #531 Creek Road, Rutland Town, VT. Look for our sign in front of our farm stand.
